Cocktail Making Mastermind Arrested In Chapainawabganj

The members of Chapainawabganj camp of Chapainawabganj arrested Tarikul, a cocktail maker from Manaksha market of Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj.

Based on secret information, cocktail maker Tariqul was arrested on Tuesday night from the cocktail making hideout along with various cocktail making tools and indigenous weapons. Arrested Tariqul Islam (28), son of deceased Yasin Ali of Rajnagar Hangami in Shibganj upazila of the district.

According to RAB, the intelligence team of RAB started investigation when cocktail blasts targeted Chapainawabganj District Commissioner's residence, election office and important facilities recently. Based on information in coordination with his own intelligence team and other intelligence agencies, on December 5 at around 9:30 pm, cocktail maker Tarikul was arrested from Manaksha Bazaar in Shibganj Upazila of Chapainawabganj.

Later, on the basis of the information received from him during the interrogation, a raid was conducted on the secret hideout of Tariqul Sardar Md Saidul Islam alias Rana (55) and 5 tanja cocktails and various domestic weapons were recovered. When the raiding party raided the house of Saidul Islam alias Rana, various types of cocktail making equipment were recovered.

Tariqul's interrogation revealed that the house of Saidul Islam alias Rana was being used as a secret hideout for making cocktails. RAB's operation is continuing to arrest Saidul Islam alias Rana, the mastermind involved in this incidentIn a raid at Manaksha Eidgah intersection of Manaksha Union of Shibganj police station of Chapainawabganj district, the accused Md. Tariqul Islam, a cocktail maker, was seized with 5 cocktails, 11 iron knives, 2 ax-shaped steel pipes, 5 knives, 1 mobile phone, and empty jars used for making cocktails. Kouta-17, broken part of the blade-250 gramsExplosive-like material mixed with glass fragments-40 gms, red and transparent tape-2 were seized in redA regular case has been filed in Shibganj police station of Chapainawabganj district in this incident.
